Terms of use

Purpose

Pocket stores reference copies of cards you own or are authorized to store. It is not a bank, payment service, or NFC wallet, and is not affiliated with card issuers. Keep your physical cards and follow your issuer's terms.

Your responsibilities

Verify every OCR suggestion and secure your Android device. Saving a card retains its sensitive CVC locally when present; never enter a card PIN or OTP. Use the no-expiry and no-security-code choices only for cards without those printed details. Follow your card issuer's restrictions on storing card details. Never store another person's card without permission. Do not rely on a saved image for payments or identity verification.

CVC and issuer conditions

CVC/CVV is sensitive card information. Pocket lets you store it locally for your own reference; the publisher does not receive it. Local encryption does not establish permission from your bank or payment network. Review the security and storage conditions for your specific card. If those conditions prohibit recording card details or CVC, do not add that card to Pocket. Pocket is not endorsed, approved, or certified by your bank, any card network, RBI, or PCI SSC. It provides no merchant checkout, autofill, token provisioning, or payment authorization.

APK downloads and updates

Install Pocket only from the publisher's website or an explicitly identified official release. Android may ask you to allow installation from the browser used to download the APK; revoke that permission afterward if you do not need it. Keep the app updated using official releases. Updates require the same Android signing identity. Do not uninstall or clear data to resolve an update problem if you need your saved cards: there is no cloud recovery.

Local storage

There is no cloud recovery. Uninstalling, clearing data, losing the phone, or invalidating the device key can lose your cards. Device-security changes may make old encrypted data inaccessible. Sign-out locks the session while keeping the wallet.

Availability and rights

Pocket cannot guarantee perfect OCR or uninterrupted availability. Nothing in these terms excludes rights or remedies that cannot be excluded under applicable Indian law. These pages do not claim regulatory certification. Production signing and release validation must be completed before public downloads.
